FUJI FP-3000B - What happens when you hang out with Ryan Seacrest

HE KILLS YOU.

Taken in Artesia MS at one of the most amazing weddings I've ever photographed. More coming soon once I get the scans back from Richard Photo Lab.

And no, that is not Ryan Seacrest, though it looks just like him. Rad cat name Scott Ford who I did a 1on1 workshop with down in Indian Springs AL.

Tavis Johnson

I've been flying this guy all over the US with me lately assisting me at weddings, and well, just causing a ruckus like we normally do (don't worry, we don't knock over wedding cakes or anything). He's making a name for himself here in UT too. I've known him for a while now, but he took my class I taught at UVU earlier this year and we started hanging out after that. Plus, his 2 kids, Mia & Parker, ALWAYS ask "Where's Ila/Ruby?". I've had some of the most amazing assistants lately (1 and 2), so here's to them.

Des Moines Holgarized

No, "holgarized" is not a silly action run by a computer or some app on my iphone. It is Kodak E100VS shot on a modified Holga from Randy Smith over @ HolgaMods, then cross processed, and scanned on my Fuji Frontier. Straight out of camera folks. No actions, no gimmicks. Point, click, develop, scan, upload.

These were taken last week during my 1 day FIND (FILM IS NOT DEAD) workshop conducted in the amazing city known as Des Moines.

Looking to bring FIND to where you are? Drop me a line.

ALSO, I've been asked one too many times about buying prints from these blog posts. And so it begins, if you want a print, these are available for purchase HERE. Back blog posts will slowly but surely be added for purchase as well. Thanks for reading/looking.

FUJI GF670 - Where is dad in these photos?

Oh, I'm there alright. We went to Hoggle zoo a while back and watched this silver back gorilla in his cage. I was appalled to see him sleep in positions I'm known to sleep in in my own bed and do some bodily gestures I'm known to do as well :). Little known secret, I can't wait to go gray so I can actually look like a silver back gorilla :).
