An old camera, but new to me...

I recently acquired a Rollei 2.8F twin lens reflex camera circa 1958. I had it overhauled and according to the guy who did it, it should last at least another 80 years. I picked this camera up after staring at Vivian Maeir's work for almost 6 hours straight. We'll see where this all takes me. It is definitely outside of my comfort zone. BW & square. But I really enjoy totally doing something completely different. I don't want comfortable. That will only lead to being completely and utter washed up...

Lehi Roundup 2013

Last month was busy. Like real busy. I was in San Francisco earlier in the month. Then I flew to UT, ran Ragnar, and immediately after the race, got on a plane to England. I had booked my flight to the UK prior to our move to Hawaii so on the way home I had a 18 hour layover in Salt Lake City. I realized the Lehi Roundup was that night so I booked it straight to Lehi to go document it. Got on a plane the next day back to Hawaii. Man oh man, do I still love this town...

Hauula, moving, and acclimating...

The kids did not miss a beat. They went to school the last 3 weeks (school got out the 3rd week of May here). I say they've acclimated quite well...
